Chloe- 2010/2011 Winter Campaign

My winter colours are certainly associated with browns, greens, oaks and subtle dark colours. Everything combines so well. I love this tailored look here and also the bouncy curls, very elegant.  Brazilian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann is a great choice for the bonny season.

Designer Kate Fearnley Interview

My interview with celebrity designer Kate Fearnley is coming up shortly, for my fashion writing module I will write an online feature interviewing Kate about her collections and inspirations. I have started researching Kate; it is exciting to see a northern designer styling the stars. The Middlesbrough designer has a boutique situated in Middlesbrough on Linthorpe Road. Her collections are available in the UK, including ASOS.com.

I am interested to find out what inspires Kate, and if her British heritage influences her designs.

The start of something new

Welcome to my individual portfolio for MP0610. This will be my diary for the long journey ahead; everything that relates to my project will be noted in my diary blog. For this practical project, I have had a few different ideas. After discussing my ideas with one of my tutors Andy Frith, I was certain that a fashion website plus blog is what I want to do this year.

From the age of 12, I remember rocking out my grandmother’s vintage blazers at school. Most of my life has been focused on fashion and have been interested in working in the fashion industry, particularly through media practice.
